MÖTLEY CRÜE Fan Fills In For TOMMY LEE: Video Interview, Live Clips Posted Online
April 7, 2006Two CTV video reports on the lucky MÖTLEY CRÜE fan who got to fill in for injured drummer Tommy Lee Wednesday (April 5) at the Enmax Center in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada have been posted online at CTV.ca: Report#1, Report#2.
Harvey Warren, a Calgary resident who manages a Starbucks by day, moonlights as a drummer in the Canadian MÖTLEY CRÜE tribute band BRÖKEN TÖYZ.
"After playing multiple shows wearing a brace and taking anti-inflammatory injections, Tommy Lee's doctor instructed him to give his injured right-hand wrist a break after his tendinitis made it difficult for him to perform," MÖTLEY CRÜE'd publicist, Dvora Vener Englefield, said in a statement. Tendonitis is a common and painful injury for drummers who pound the skins with great force.
Lee, 43, hopes to return for a concert Friday (April 7) in Prince George, Englefield said. There are six dates left on the tour.
